On Tuesday 10th December 2024, Louisa will be giving a talk for AOTOS members (the Association of Teachers of Singing) on how to use the power of emotion in the singing voice.

We all know that emotion is a powerful thing. For many, it’s what brings them to music. But how do we use it with our singers? And is it a help or a hindrance? This session is an hour’s online workshop for singing teachers, trying out some exercises and tips for harnessing emotion with singers. Although Louisa is more experienced in working with Musical Theatre performers and Actor-Singers, the techniques can be applied to all genres.
