Louisa has been coaching for 14 years, alongside training and working as an actor, singer and director. She now coaches full-time with a busy week of singers and performers, working with many genres.

 Louisa regularly coaches students for drama school auditions and has had huge success over the years with many young actors and singers gaining places at top schools. Because of Louisa’s training and experience as an actor and director, she is able to offer text-based coaching and voice work for speech in addition to singing. Louisa is currently working part-time towards an MA in Vocal Pedagogy with Voice Study Centre, and is currently on the 2021 Accreditation programme to become a Vocal Process accredited teacher. She is also a qualified Vocal Health First Aider, certified by Vocal Health Education. Louisa has previously worked as a peripatetic singing teacher at St Peter’s Preparatory School in Lympstone and St James’ School in Exeter. She currently teaches singing to the full-time Acting students at the Cygnet Theatre.

 
Louisa is extremely pleased to be working with a team of talented young teachers at various stages in their careers, with experience from Classical and Musical Theatre to Pop, Folk and Metal. They can also offer a mix of children’s and adult’s lessons, from beginner to advanced, online and in-person.
